Maritime folk art is an umbrella term for seamanlike handcraft works, which were manufactured during leisure time on board, as well as for souvenirs of sailors and various basic commodities, which belonged to the personal properties of seamen who refurbished and decorated it in a more or less skillful and aesthetic manner.
