Maritime Archaeology

The Underwater Archaeology deals with all archaeological sources that have remained beneath the water surface. These sources can be found at the bottom of seas and lakes, fountains, but also in swamps. Underwater archeology is characterized by a very good preservation of organic material, such as wood or textiles through the medium of water.
