Archive Materials

Archive material is the recorded in archives. Archives are generally unique, which means they contain all originals. Each if them is only existing once (as opposed to printed sources, such as books) as they originally were not made for public or archiving historical heritage. Besides the most common way of archiving "in writing"(documents, files, official records, etc.), there are also audio-visual sources (photos, maps, plans, etc.) as well as digital documenting.
